This geometrically-layered showpiece home sits on a substantial block at the The Gap. The family had talked to several builders before deciding to build with Antech Constructions. They based their decision on our previous work, including talking to our customers, but also on their confidence that we would be available throughout the process to answer their questions.
This hilltop custom build is three levels on a sloping block. Above the triple garage is viewing deck with a suspended concrete floor.
Enhancing the indoor/outdoor flow, the swimming pool sits close to the house to make for a seamless transition from living area, to patio to pool. Because the block slopes, it sits out of the ground at its far end. Both factors meant the pool required careful consideration during the build.
The home’s elevated position at The Gap gives it views out towards the Brisbane CBD, so we also paid close attention to window placement.
