Designed by Antech Constructions, this custom build for an executive couple in Manly was the culmination of a 20-year dream.
The couple bought the hilltop block overlooking Moreton Bay for its views. They planned to knock down the old house eventually. When the time finally came, they wanted something unique. And having waited two decades for their custom build, the couple wanted to make sure their bay views would never be built out. We spent many visits with laser measures arranging ladders and chairs to the height of the upper-level al fresco area so they could see precisely how it would frame the aspect.
This is a sloping block, so the home we designed incorporates split levels to fit the block beautifully as well as to create massive height to protect the views into the future.
Inside, details like the feature fireplace create an atmosphere, and the high-spec kitchen is a chef’s dream. A second kitchen downstairs allows for dual living when family visits.
