This custom home in Wellington Point is situated on a steep sloping site presenting significant challenges with slope stability issues. Despite the project being declined by numerous builders, we, as experienced builders specializing in sloping blocks eagerly accepted the added challenges.
More than 100 hours of planning were dedicated to meticulous planning, involving extensive consultation with geotechnical and structural engineers. To address the site’s slope and stability concerns, the house was elevated on steel posts supported by deep screw piers locked together with steel beams. This approach necessitated thorough planning and extensive earthworks.
Commanding breathtaking views of Moreton Bay, we optimized the design by adhering to the maximum height regulations set by the Council. The outdoor areas, include a pool elevated three meters above ground level at one end , integrated with the natural slope, and a decked yard that ensures a perfectly level surface.
